Version 1.1 – Academic Balance Update
Thank you to everyone who has played Last Term, First Love and shared feedback since release!
Version 1.1 focuses on making the academic side of the game more forgiving while maintaining the importance of balancing academics, relationships, and your social life throughout the semester.
Academic Balance Changes
Added two bonus questions to each exam. Correct answers provide additional points toward your exam score, while incorrect answers carry no penalty.
Increased the GPA benefit from studying, giving players a greater opportunity to improve their academic standing throughout the semester.
Reduced the severity of certain GPA penalties that occur during the story.
Updated GPA calculations to support bonus exam points, while keeping the maximum overall GPA at 4.00.
These changes are intended to provide more opportunities to recover from academic mistakes and give players greater control over whether they meet the 3.00 GPA requirement for graduation, while preserving the academic pressure that is part of the story.
Fixes
Fixed various spelling and grammar issues throughout the game.
