It's here! The first public demo of Stardust Frontier is out and playable now! Grab your friends and explore the Frontier!
Hey folks, thank you so much for your patience these last few months. There has been so much involved in getting a playable demo ready for you all, both expected and unexpected, and we're pleased to say that our demo is now publicly available! The Stardust Frontier Prerelease Demo is still rough around the edges and missing a couple core mechanics that we consider necessary for the full release, but we hope it should be a fun and worthwhile expedition into the Frontier that we have crafted for you so far! So give it a shot with your friends, and please do give us your feedback to help us shape the game as we move towards the full release!
Next Steps
In the immediate future (next couple of weeks) we'll be focusing on patching bugs and resolving issues that players encounter and report to us, as well as ensuring the stability of our multiplayer servers as they get their first real surge of organic (and unpredictable) players!
After things have had a chance to settle down, we'll be starting semi-regular Playtests on Steam to explore and refine new features that will be coming to the demo, so definitely enroll in the Playtest now if you haven't already! We'll be coordinating and scheduling these playtests through our Discord, so join that as well if you want to be notified of when a new build is available.
