Welcome back to the Pendulum Meadows Gazette! I have some news worth stepping away from whatever you're doing for — Demo 2 is officially out. If the first demo left any impression on you at all, this one is a different animal. More songs, a new mode, and a noticeably different atmosphere. I'll get into the details below, but let's just say: if you haven't tried it yet, now would be a good time.

#1 Story Mode — Now Playable : Demo 2 introduces Story Mode for the first time. Unlike Arcade Mode, it's designed with a more accessible difficulty curve, making it a gentler entry point into the world of Pendulum Meadows. Whether you're new to the game or just curious about the narrative side of things, this is your chance to experience it before the full release. I wouldn't sleep on it.
#2 Four Tracks, Three New Stages : The first demo shipped with three tracks. Demo 2 brings four — and three of them feature entirely new stages compared to what was in the previous version. Each stage has been built to fit the tone of the mode it belongs to, so expect the experience to feel fresh even if you've played before.
#3 Overall Game Tuning : A lot has changed under the hood and on the surface. The game logo has been updated, and along with it, I've adjusted the overall atmosphere and brightness levels across the game. The feel is noticeably different from Demo 1 — darker in some ways, more deliberate. It's the closest the game has felt to what I've been working toward.

I've been curating indie games for a while now, and I wanted to share some of that here too. Hopefully you'll find something worth looking into. So I'm setting aside a little space in the Gazette for it — From the Field. I'll keep bringing good ones your way, so I hope you'll stick around. This week, four games I couldn't stop thinking about.
Am I Nima : A girl who has to build sentences just to prove she's real to her own mother — and whatever she finds at the end is worse than doubt (Link).
Blue Ridge Hunting : Appalachian mountains, grainy footage, grief buried under the hunt — and something in the treeline that listens back (Link).
Desktop Explorer : An old computer, still running. Files, chat logs, a program that feels a little too aware of you (Link).
Rizz Dungeon: Skeleton Key to My Heart : A dungeon where you can't fight, so you charm instead — carried by hearts you've slowly, foolishly won (Link).
Each of these games puts you inside something that already has weight to it. None of them are out yet — worth a wishlist while you can. More waiting on My curator page.

Next up is Story Mode level tuning alongside Arcade Mode level polishing. Once those are wrapped up, the Standard Version launch follows. The finish line is in sight — stay with me.

As always, feedback is more than welcome — it's genuinely what's been shaping this game. I've received a tremendous amount of input from players so far, and it's been actively reflected in every update. If you have thoughts on Demo 2, drop by the Discord anytime. Every word gets read. See you in the next issue.
