Everything's coming together!
Hatman is just about finished! I just need to add some sound effects and some "lore" as to make him fit more easily into the world. No spoilers yet, but I have found a good way to tie him into the story.
I have drawn up some new furniture as well as some new shader effects. I have to account for some strange angles for fences/walls/gates that can cause some strange effects.

I think another great suggestions from the community comes from "Cozmuc", who has recommended palette swaps for the Aquarium. I love this idea and honestly, I think we need to extend it to the rest of the game as well!
My plans for now are:
Water like colors for Aquarium (See below pic and planned layout, drawn up by Cozmuc!)
Desert-like/humid/hot palette for Summer
Pastel colors for Spring.
Dark Cave color palette as well?
In the future, I would also like to have these be customizable. However, Just adding more advanced palette swapping will be a challenge in itself.
New Changes (Will be available in upcoming 0.7 update):
Hatman spriting is finished! Completely functional in-game.
Hatman music.
Summer music.
Spring Music
Summer "Heat Wave" added. This will occur periodically prior to evening.
Fire! It's super janky. In a good way lol?
Player can put fire out by clicking on it! If the player is on fire, they can "sneak" to put the fire out (stop-drop-roll style).
You can now pick up dead bodies! Why would you, you might ask? Well for:
Composters! Drop dead bodies in them, and over time, they will make fertilizer.
Fertilizer is also added! This will be used for making crops grow quicker.
What I'm working on now:
Palette swap for aquarium/seasons.
Sound effects for Hatman
Cutscenes+story for Hatman
Cutscenes+story for raid boss "Sonny"
Sound effects + music for raids.
Tying all the changes together. Making consequences?
Finishing up all the new farm decor options.
Finishing up new crafting recipes.
Art for new items (Fertilizer, composters, "Flint and Steel", etc).
More advanced Aquarium layout.
Once these changes are done, I will try to pivot to the next big feature for 0.7 update. Keeping focused and adding what truly matters will be top priority. I am hoping to release that update in the next couple weeks. So I have to really rush!
Thanks for following along!
