Lot's of polishing!
Everyone has been very helpful in finding a lot of issues. I try my best to carefully fix all of the bugs you have mentioned! I am sure some things are destined to show their face again. However, I think the game is in a much better place.
What's new:
New Ring Equipment Slot! Currently just equips the cookie necklaces hanging around the Farm. In the future this will be used for Enchanted Rings, Hair/Wigs, Sunglasses, etc.
New "Secondary Hand" Equipment Slot! Any usable item can be equipped to this slot. If you "right click" or alternate use (B on controllers I believe), it should use whatever is equipped in this slot.
If a Tool is in Secondary Hand Equipment Slot, it should show up on your back! Also if you hold a pistol and have a shotgun as secondary, the shotgun should show up on your back as well.
The White "chaser" enemy in the caves was too afraid. I made his combat style a little more aggressive/annoying.
If holding Lanterns/flashlight as secondary item, should show light accordingly.
Compass is in store. This item is helpful in navigating mines.
PS4 controller support.
Beet throw instructions + UI update.
"Quick use food" setting in Controls.
Bug fixes:
During 3 days of darkness, if you had multiple tables. Sometimes placing candle/crucifix could cancel out previous Blessed Candles effect.
Couldn't talk about Agatha's Bow due to other quest being present.
Removed flickering screen on Death.
Mansion Green house wasn't farmable.
Rain was "Watering" crops in Mansion Green house. Despite being in doors.
If entering Golgotha after defeating Golgotha boss, you can see him chillin' pre-transform state.
Squito Day 2 Tutorial/Quest wouldn't trigger if you didn't place Crucifix on day 1 before sleeping.
The Boy had a sequence issue, you could walk to cottage before walking to Farm and see the boy/cottage fight. Then see boy again upon approaching Farm.
Settings was missing Crafting control configuration.
HD font was hard to read during winter.
NPC's occasionally would teleport.
Train Station would play day music, even during evening.
When Dog was present, you couldn't collide with Bed to go to sleep.
Crucifix would show Blessed Candle flames occasionally during 3 days of darkness.
"Enter The Mansion" quest wasn't finishing properly.
Evening Monsters were showing up during Early Access "Final Boss".
Some trees were invisible during winter.
Some Snow walls were invisible during winter.
You no longer can sleep while Mayor knocks on door (In winter).
Game should save after "3 Days of Darkness".
Snowballs around world now respawn.
There shouldn't be screen flickering during storms in winter.
No boss should break through your house when you deny the mayor entrance to house.
If you are behind the Mansion large crawling boss, you could get stuck behind him. This should no longer be possible (in theory, needs more testing).
Bolognese recipe now shows proper ingredients in both note and recipe.
Adjusted Gold equipment costs to reflect upgrade costs.
When walking next to river in wilderness, you could get stuck. Fixed.
Agatha "Punpkin" quest should be removed from notice board if Agatha is not present.
Krecik will accept Statue quest while working as Blacksmith.
Bogdan has different dialogue if Krecik is working as Blacksmith (not present for discussion).
Normal versions of depraved should no longer wander while their depraved version attacks you.
Adjusting volume during mini-games in Beet Festival should see volume change immediately.
Dog was disappearing occasionally and was unretrievable. Now, the Dog should spawn in the house.
If Dog was missing in previous save, should recover.
Crash from saving dog. It was rare but important to fix.
If Recipes are missing on an older save, they now should "repair" and re-appear going forward.
Ammo price adjusted to be cheaper.
bugged running sneak mode when respawning after death is fixed.
Mushrooms were not stacking properly due to different effects. Despite being same item.
Mines are less laggy (almost double the FPS locally).
Mines were duplicating some walls which would lead to terrible lag if you entered the same mines multiple times without restarting game.
Fixed Crash regarding crafting items (Specifically Torch).
Could fight Golgotha boss twice on occasion.
If finished Golgotha, the Krecik quest to find Angel Statues should be removed from Notice Board.
Toggle Run and Map configurations were swapped.
Toggling "fullscreen" (not "borderless fullscreen") would crash due to rapidly fullscreening/unfullscreening a couple times.
Issue with Fullscreen opening small. This issue will need more testing and possibly still is an issue.
Some saves were becoming corrupted. I resolved a couple possible paths. Hopefully no more save corruptions should occur.
Thief and poison knife now show damage.
Wolf head and shawl have Armor values now.
Many PS4 controller/dual shock controller issues resolved.
Fixed issue where Winter won't start due to being "stuck in a dungeon" despite being on the Farm.
Giants won't chase you indefinitely anymore.
10k money achievement should be fixed. (Might not be? We will see).
Fixed some of the text overlap on sleep screen for long item names (Such as "Superb Cooked Beet").
During Beet throw game, could interact with hotbar.
Controllers now works on Blacksmith screen.
Beet throw more "Interactable"
Definitely a lot of bugs fixed. As insane as that all looks. This was over the span of a week. I think going forward we will see a lot less bugs showing up.
Which brings me to my next point. In the next patch, expect less bugs and more features. I'm hoping to tackle a large amount of content that will improve the overall feel. Eventually, I need to tackle a more "in-depth" spring/summer. However, game feel in the early Fall + Winter is more important in my estimation.
What's to expect in next patch:
Fishing
Mayor Town Hall/Museum
Swamp?
Bandits that begin in Spring.
Weekly Updates (About every Thursday):
From now on, I will aim to make updates every week.
If some features are still in the works by Thursday, I will still make sure to let you all know on Thursday and when to expect another update.
Thank you so much for all your support!
