We’re back with another Feature Focus, our series dedicated to delving into numerous Warhammer Survivors features, such as Status Effects, Enemy Skills and more!
In the previous Feature Focus, we explored just some of the enemy skills, abilities and attacks the multitudinous hordes will throw at you in Warhammer Survivors. Today, we’re going to delve into Faction Traits – additional game mechanics inspired by the tabletop and affecting each enemy faction in unique ways.
Watch now to learn about Faction Traits. ⬇️
Faction Traits
Faction Traits influence certain enemies in a variety of ways, from unique behaviours, damage resistances and more. Two examples of these are the Tyranid’s Synapse trait and the Ork’s rallying Waaagh!
The Tyranids - Synapse
Synapse emitted by critical bioforms such as the Hive Tyrant drives swarms of nearby Termagants and Hormagaunts into a ravenous rage, granting them the Berserk status effect, which increases their movement speed and damage inflicted.
Destroying Synapse creatures will cause the nearby lesser bioforms to fall into a temporary, stunned shock. So, dispatch Synapse-inducing Tyranids quickly to avoid being overrun!

The Orks – WAAAGH!
When facing the Orks, if the screen starts turning red... ready yourself for a mighty Waaagh!
During a Waaagh!, similarly to Synapse, Orks are fuelled with a war-hungry rage, spawning enemies in greater numbers as well as enemies becoming frenzied!
