We’re back with another Feature Focus, our series dedicated to delving into numerous Warhammer Survivors features, such as Status Effects, Enemy Skills and more!
Within the 41st Millennium, there is only war as you are beleaguered on all fronts by the alien, the mutant, and the heretic. Whilst your existence in the Mortal Realms means fending off geist, ghoul and demon.
In Warhammer Survivors, hordes of enemies will stop at nothing to bring about your demise and some of them are armed with skills to make that job all that much easier.
Watch now to learn about Enemy Skills. ⬇️
A myriad of enemy skills, abilities and attacks
While every enemy faction has its fair share of minions to obliterate, there are several enemies in each faction with unique behaviours and abilities, posing new challenges to your tried and tested weapon combinations.
Enemy skills allow enemies to move unpredictably, charge suddenly, heal, or even flee – only to return for a strike!

Charging and pouncing
If you played the Warhammer Survivors demo, you would have already faced the Von Ryan’s Leaper, a terrifying Tyranid bioform, which has a ‘Pounce’ ability. It can rear up and sporadically leap over enemies to impale the player with sharp, mantis-like talons.
Other enemies, such as the Blades of Khorne Bloodcrushers, charge in telegraphed attacks, giving you time to dodge out of the way – or stop them in their tracks!

A Collegiate Arcane Study: The Skaven
The Skaven – known for their reckless ingenuity – attack with a range of warpstone-infused weapons and dark sorceries, and their ranks have all manner of different skills:
The Ratling Gunner
The Ratling Gunner unleashes a hail of bullets as it travels across the screen to the next – boxing the player in with damaging hazard zones.

The Toll of Doom
The Bell of Doom is an endless spell conjured by Skaven seers, and it bolsters nearby Skaven with the ruinous will of the Great Horned Rat, granting them the Warded status effect. Even the weakest of verminkind become resilient and tougher!

Acolyte Globadiers
Should these efforts fail, the cunning Skaven always prepare a back-up plan. Acolyte Globadiers hurl toxic globes, creating clouds of noxious fumes that poison the player.
