🕷️ Arachne, the Cursed Weaver
Deep within the castle lives Arachne, a chubby yet oddly endearing resident cursed with spider legs. Though marked by his fate, he welcomes us warmly — and offers something no one else can.
By bringing his Shadow Silk, Arachne weaves mysterious garments spun from the threads of destiny. These aren’t just outfits — they are the very heart of the item system. Every piece he creates alters the way we fight and survive.
The higher the difficulty, the greater the rewards: tougher challenges allow us to gather larger amounts of Shadow Silk, which in turn unlocks rarer, more powerful equipment. Arachne’s loom binds progression, challenge, and choice into one — every thread pulling us deeper into the curse.
🩸 Lady Corvus, Keeper of Ancient Blood
When Lord Eyles vanished, so too did Lady Corvus, one of the castle’s ancient vampires. Her disappearance shrouded the halls in mystery, but if we uncover the truth and bring her back, she may yet share her forbidden knowledge.
Corvus holds the secrets of reshaping our blood-born powers — unique vampiric abilities that flow directly from the heart. With her ancient teachings, we gain the means to redefine and customize our own blood magic, bending it in ways once thought lost to time.
Despite her snow-white hair, Corvus appears youthful and delicate, her presence both elegant and unnerving. Yet the greatest question remains unanswered: will this timeless vampire truly accept us as the castle’s new Lord, or will she resist the change of power?
🏰 Mr. Selim, the Castle Restorer
Among the castle’s cursed halls dwells Mr. Selim, a master craftsman with the rare ability to shape its very foundations. Through the power of Echoes of Grandeur, he can bend even the ancient, unyielding walls of this enchanted fortress to our will.
Under his careful hands, the long-faded castle slowly regains its former splendor, echoing the glorious days of old. Yet Mr. Selim’s talents go beyond simple restoration — he answers to our personal requests, ensuring the fortress reflects our reign as its new Lord.
One such project is the construction of Roderic’s Hobby Room, a unique chamber where bold new ideas take form. This room promises to host discoveries, strategies, and tools that may aid us in the dark struggle ahead.
🌍 New Biomes Along the Road to Eyles’ Fortress
The path from our stronghold to Lord Eyles’ castle is no longer a simple march — it is a gauntlet of cursed lands, each twisted by the shadows of his dominion.
* The Scorched Deserts: Sunlight burns as fiercely as moonlight, cursing these sands with unending heat. Day and night alike, travelers are seared by the torment of an eternal blaze.
* The Frozen Battlegrounds: Once a site of war, now a grave of ice. The chilling breath of lost souls freezes the air itself, leaving every step haunted by the cold whispers of the fallen.
* The Ravaged Forests: Once lush, now devoured by nocturnal horrors. Cursed night-creatures prowl beneath dead canopies, their eyes glowing with hunger in the dark.
* The Forgotten Stronghold: A colossal fortress, abandoned since ancient wars, yet forever marked by Eyles’ presence. It is said he commanded his armies here, and the ruins still carry his iron will.
Each biome brings not only unique enemies, elites, and bosses, but also environments that test endurance in new ways — heat, cold, darkness, and despair themselves become weapons in the journey.
📜 New Missions & Lessons
Igor’s fractured mind offers us pieces of the past, half-remembered fragments that slowly take shape as missions. Through his scattered memory, we begin to recall our purpose — and with each recollection, greater challenges rise before us.
On this harsher path, memory alone will not be enough. We will need new weapons and new methods to endure. Master Hellsong knows this well. His lessons have been reshaped, his talent tree expanded, branching toward the trials yet to come. Within its depths lie powers designed for the battles that only grow darker.
👑 Lord Eyles, the Ancient Nemesis
Before the age of decline, Lord Eyles was more than a loyal follower — he was one of the most powerful and influential vampire lords within the castle. Unlike others who reveled in aristocratic decadence, he feared that such indulgence would drown their kind in weakness and obscurity. To prevent this downfall, he vowed to do anything necessary to make vampires supreme once more.
Now he stands not only as an endgame foe, but as a force that reshapes the battlefield itself. Through curses of ancient magic, he warps every encounter, turning each step of our journey into a struggle against his will. His presence also threatens to fracture our bonds with allies inside the castle, testing loyalties and straining relationships as much as blades and blood. Lord Eyles is more than a final enemy — he is a shadow over every choice we make.
⚙️ Optimizations & Fixes
Countless cracks have been mended, and with them the castle stands sturdier than before. Bugs have been fixed, performance improved, and the game now runs far smoother — granting you higher frame rates and a sharper experience in every battle.
Our efforts to optimize the foundations of Night Swarm mean not only a more stable journey, but also the strength to build even greater horrors upon it.
