hello everyone! today is a very special day, because i am very proud to say that DARKEST DESCENT RELEASES IN EARLY ACCESS ON SEPTEMBER 29TH! ISNT THIS GREAT NEWS! YAY! ːsifemojiːːsifemojiːːsifemojiːːsifemojiː
heck yeah! ive been waiting for this! how much will this experience cost?
5 UNITED ST ATES DOLLARS. 5 USD FOR MY GAME. AND YOU GET TO KEEP IT THROUGH ALL THE UPDATES AND NEW CONTENT RELEASES!
so what all am i gonna be able to do in your video game?
well dear reader, there is quite a bit of content coming with this release. i wanna make a good first impression you know? 20 whole creatures, 7 bosses, 6 classes with 70 skills to choose from, and 7 full environments to run through.. as well as UP TO 8 PLAYER MULTIPLAYER
oh my! this sounds great! but, why early access? what else is coming?
im glad you asked, my beautiful fan. i plan on supporting this game into late 2026 with regular content drops. the early access release will contain what i would like to call "1 full floor" worth of content. theres gonna be like 5 of these total by the time im done with the game.
cool cool. how soon are we expecting to get all this stuff?
well, im not entirely sure. i will likely take a break after the release and spend some time fleshing out some of my ideas. after a couple weeks i will be releasing a smaller update to touch up on some of the old stuff. i want to make sure everything feels great before moving on towards adding more stuff to the game, so i will probably cycle between a month or so of having regular health updates and small content drops and a month or so of working on major updates.
well, thats all folks! if you want more regular updates make sure to join the discord server !!! hooray!! bye for now yall, have a great day! - camphii_
