What does this update bring?
I. A Fundamental Change in Game Identity
From Open-World Survival → Semi-Open Survival RPG
The world structure has shifted from an unrestricted open map to a clearly segmented, controlled semi-open sandbox
The core loop has evolved from simply “staying alive” into a structured cycle of Explore → Combat → Retreat → Base Management → Character Progression
The game now follows a clear RPG progression framework rather than a loose sandbox accumulation
⚠️ This is not content removal, but a focused redesign of gameplay direction.
II. Combat System: From Tools to a System
Firearms, melee combat, and skill-based ammunition now form a complete combat system
Weapon momentum, skill execution, stamina, and risk–reward are deeply interconnected
Combat is no longer about reducing enemy HP, but about resource control, positioning, and retreat timing
III. Base System: Now the True Core
The base is no longer a simple safe zone, but the central hub of survival and progression
Heat, production, and modular structures introduce long-term pressure
Players must plan how long they venture out, what they retrieve, and whether they can survive the night
IV. Crafting System: From Lists to Production Logic
All crafting values have been rebalanced
Clear intermediate components and production tiers have been introduced
Crafting now supports long-term development instead of short-term consumption
V. Looting System: Risk Is Now Quantified
Looting is no longer guaranteed
Container complexity, looting skill level, and failure penalties affect decisions
Players must decide: Loot now, or retreat?
VI. UI and Overall Experience
UI fully adapted to the new gameplay structure
Clearer information hierarchy and reduced noise
Prepared for future system expansion
VII. Content and Stability
New items, enemies, and mechanics added
Large portions of underlying logic rewritten
Significant reduction of redundant assets and unused dependencies
