Hello everyone! :)
This update introduces the new Herb System, expands the Academy with a new questline and NPC, improves controller support across the game, and fixes several issues.
New Content
Added Herbs, which have a small chance to spawn on wild islands.
Herb-related talents are now available.
Added a new tool, the Herb Scissors, which can be unlocked through the talent system and crafted in the Workshop.
Added the Herb Garden Bed, which can be unlocked through the talent system and crafted at the Sawmill.
Added a new questline that introduces the Herb talents.
The second floor of the Academy is now accessible.
Added a new NPC, Professor Thymus, who specializes in herbs.
Added controller button prompts for interacting with the Town Notice Board.
Renamed the veterinarian Laura to Renata.
Increased the chance for a Treasure Chest to spawn on a random island from 8% to 12%.
Fixes
Animals can now be picked up and placed into the inventory while using a controller.
Books can now be used correctly with a controller.
The game now launches correctly when Steam is running in Offline Mode.
Controller button prompts are now displayed correctly when interacting with fences.
The Town Notice Board can now be opened with a controller.
Fixed a crash that could occur when opening the Selling Chest.
Milk Buckets can now be collected correctly while using a controller.
