Greetings Braves,
The free Bellona DLC map is the 400 km² continental world of LEGEND BATTLES, which is connected to the 25 km² western island of Aurora by several bridges, and this Aurora island is included with the app. The Bellona DLC is simply gigantic, with specifications never before achieved for a Battle Royale game app.
Bellona is 400 km² of rocky mountainous deserts, dotted with hundreds of mega-cities with very different architectural styles for each megalopolis, an extreme density of urban infrastructure with thousands of accessible buildings with varied and richly furnished interiors, accessible rooftops well equipped for combat, and some infrastructures with rather cyberpunk-style basements and cellars. The spaceships in the sky are accessible by zip lines for combat on these immense machines and also for the most experienced snipers.
Let's take about ten examples from among the hundreds of megacities, because it is impossible for us to describe each of these numerous battlefields.
Gigantic hangars house enormous spaceships for their maintenance and these hangars are nested one after the other to carry out the various maintenance operations of these intergalactic spaceships. These hangars are full of all kinds of equipment, scattered everywhere, and they become real hiding places to organize fatal ambushes so great caution is required to move in all these hangars.
The cyberpunk sewers are very present in LEGEND BATTLES and constitute veritable labyrinths in which it is easy to get lost and never leave. Moreover, with their gloomy lights, the fights are difficult and only the best will come out alive. In addition, these sewers are populated by strange noises that come mainly from the large ventilation systems. Remember that you can climb everywhere, so your salvation will depend in part on your agility to move skillfully.
There are many science fiction space bases in Bellona and they all have very different styles with dense infrastructures and interiors with well-stocked computer furniture, so it will not be possible for you to cross a space base in one go in a few moments. Passing through a space base is often laborious and only allows passage on a motorcycle because cars require a wheelbase that is not always appropriate in a space base where a multitude of equipment litters the ground.
This sci-fi city is crisscrossed by numerous underground levels that quickly become cutthroat as the gunfire from all levels is difficult to predict. Many vehicles circulate in the air as this city is the commercial hub of Bellona and it is an ideal place to do business provided you are well equipped with submachine guns, which are often a strong selling point. And since traffic is easy, as in most of the megacities in LEGEND BATTLES, then racing cars might well be a preferable choice for racing drivers to escape the enemy fires.
Well, here is a vast futuristic city built in the middle of the desert that must house workers given the functional side of its urban infrastructure. All floors of the buildings in this city are habitable with richly furnished interiors in a very futuristic style. Also, danger can come from each floor and if you hear a window breaking then imagine that a bullet is heading towards you if it is not too late. Thus each battlefield requires its own strategy and forget the all-purpose strategies that become mediocre on the battlefields of LEGEND BATTLES. To survive, be agile, skillful and intelligent with plenty of resources and victory will be at your fingertips.
Bellona is populated by numerous Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Incan, and extraterrestrial temples, not to mention industrial sites, industrial ports, racetracks, and many other things that you'll be surprised to discover in LEGEND BATTLES. The temples are full of hiding places and nooks and crannies that quickly become ambush sites. To complicate matters, zip lines are present in many locations, and since players can climb anywhere, danger quickly becomes a habit. But in all this, you have time to marvel at the magnificence of these temples, of remarkable beauty, and don't hold back from fabulous selfies to share your happiness with your friends.
You will be faced with exploring the infrastructure of Arab, Hindu, Western, cyberpunk, and futuristic megacities that offer no common ground. Also, if your combat strategy has been to learn the battlefield by heart, LEGEND BATTLES will pose new challenges that you will have to quickly overcome to survive in these worlds built primarily for hyper-realistic Battle Royale combat. Running on Unreal Engine 5.6, LEGEND BATTLES offers a multitude of details, lights, and special effects that immerse players in an ultra-realistic world, and this is one of the fundamental differences in LEGEND BATTLES, with, of course, the 400 km2 of Bellona, which is unprecedented.
Sci-fi corridors are commonplace in the interiors and basements of Bellona and Aurora. They're all different too, making them difficult to navigate with practice. However, you have to get used to adapting to constantly changing environments, just as special forces do in reality, in order to return safely after combat. These corridors are equipped with very different lighting, and their complexities can quickly turn into a labyrinth for the less experienced. These corridors are sometimes dotted with protective equipment, but occasionally, some alleys are completely devoid of them, and the danger becomes palpable.
We have seen megacities with different underground floors and here is one of the megacities with different exterior levels including elevated roads. From a high road, shooters will certainly be waiting for you if you go lower and it could be fatal because when you do not expect it, well, you are not on your guard. And this is one of the difficulties of LEGEND BATTLES because, just like in reality, danger comes from everywhere because the enemies have taken care to position themselves in places that we do not imagine and therefore you will not essentially be on our guard.
Sci-fi industrial sites are terrifying because you never know where danger is coming from. These industrial sites feature glass interiors, walkways that allow you to quickly move from one building to another, and their industrial equipment provides ideal protection for shooting your enemies. Their infrastructure and industrial processes are all very different. Knowing one of them will not protect you from the others, as they have nothing in common. Stay alert, agile, mobile, and quickly develop formidable strategies that will surely lead you to ultimate victory.
So, dear braves, come join our ranks, participate in the tough test battles during future Playtest sessions and follow us now on STEAM to loudly and clearly affirm your support for our fight.
