While working on a backlog of narrative points, an old internal memo was found.
This was given to all staff working on the top secret project.
As you can see, it was a very fun company with lots of DEI!
Would you like to meet HR and discuss your future?
HLRG memo for all staff on Project: Promethean
1. We own your perspective.
What you see here? It’s ours. What you think about what you see? Also ours. Don’t share the POV. Don't spoil the narrative. Just don't.
2. Check your empathy at the door.
The assets aren't people, they're part of the process. Catching feelings is a bug, not a feature. It compromises the data. Don't be the problem.
3. "No" is just a request for more information.
A subject’s "willfulness" is a challenge, not a stop sign. Your job is to get them to "yes." Be the main character of their story. Guide the narrative. Persuade.
4. We ship product, not people.
Who they were is just a draft. The successful version is the final cut. Their old identity? That's just a dead file. Delete it.
5. Your moral compass is off-brand.
The only valid ethics are project ethics. We own the definition of "good." If it feels wrong to you, that's a you problem. Adjust your settings.
6. We're making history. That's not a clean process.
This is transcendence. Sacrifices aren't just "likely," they're a planned resource. It’s not a tragedy, just the cost of the ticket.
