Hello everyone, I have a few updates for you today. Im going to spend some more time today fixing several issues before I continue working on all of the new content so expect another patch in 8-12 hours.
Here are the details for this patch:
Changed perk unlocking so perks are unlocked on the start of day 7 rather then on game over screen. Fixed multiple exploits where players could farm perks infinintley with this new system.
Changed perk unlocking so that perks are unlocked on every 7th day (day 7, 14, 21, etc…).
There was a chance for a client's unlocked perks not to be displayed when the client clicked the perks button. This should be fixed now. If this continues to happen to you, you can simply leave and rejoin and this should fix the issue until I can fully patch the bug.
Fixed bug where depth finder item could be launched at mach 7 and disappear when a player stepped on it.
Fixed bug where players could get stuck on collision near ramp next to the lake in the cave
Fixed bug where higher ping clients might not have the value of fish properly counted when selling to the trader
Other misc. bugs have been fixed aswell.
My brother and I are continuing to make great progress towards the next big update coming out soon, our 3d artist is also cooking up some absolutely beautiful new fish aswell for the new Jungle/Ocean map. You will be catching monster ocean fish in no time. Be prepared for the new gorilla monster and giant spider creature; they seem to have teamed up and have the same goal in mind.
Thanks!
