This patch puts more polish on the game and how the world interacts with the player.
Skills:
-The skill tree has been completely overhauled; all skills now have base damage, and +skill items no longer directly add
additional damage to the standard base damage of the player; instead, they increase the skill level of the skill itself, increasing the damage of the skill.
-Skills that become available need to be unlocked in the skill panel instead of being automatically assigned.
-Hovering over a skill gives a more accurate description of skills, mana cost, what type of element, etc.
Quests:
-NPC characters now give main quests.
-If an act boss is not defeated, the upcoming act main quests will not show up yet.
-Quests that have not fully started are colored in grey.
-Quests that are not completed will show up in red.
-The NPC character will have a grey exclamation mark indication that they have a quest for you.
Overall QOL updates and changes:
-Monster now gives text indication that your damage is being absorbed if immunities occur.
-Changed the health text indicator from red to gold for quests and unique monsters.
-Right clicking on an item equips items now too.
-Reduced armor gambling prices.
-Added new items to the game.
-Main menu colors changed.
-Helios Mage now drops the Uber Skeleton King scroll and is no longer purchasable at the Diamond merchant.
-Extra small town added to Dark Forest.
Spell behavior:
Spells no longer pierce anymore and properly collide with the enemy, players, or objects.
Bug fixes:
-Fixed a bug where monsters would sometimes spawn too high up in the air.
Your character also has a maximum amount of skill he can use based on your player level
In this picture the player level is 35, so that means he can use 4 skills maximum.

For level 1-50, that is 4 skills maximum.
For level 51-75, that is 7 skills maximum.
For level 76-94, that's 8 skills maximum.
For level 95-99, that's 10 skills maximum
-Skill panel overhaul: skills now have individual damage and a proper description
-Skills now are unlocked with an unlock point when the correct level is reached.
-Skills have a maximum cap based on player level.
A spell shot against a tree, with the tree receiving a collision with the spell, making the game feel more polished; spells no longer pierce through objects anymore like before.
Quest now has a clearer indication of who's giving them; the quest, of course, can still be completed without having to talk to an NPC starting a game if forgotten.
Have fun with patch 1.13B!
