Gigils Update — P2P Hosting, Training Map, Fixes & Balance Changes
We’ve released a new update for Gigils focused on multiplayer accessibility, bug fixes, balance adjustments, and a new way to practice against bots.
Peer-to-Peer Hosting
Dedicated servers have been replaced with a peer-to-peer hosting system.
Players can now host a game directly through Steam, play with bots, or join a game hosted by another player. This should make it easier to start and maintain matches without relying on dedicated server availability.
New Training Map
A new training map has been added, featuring waves of AI-controlled enemies.
It provides a straightforward way to test and practice combat and get familiar with the game before joining regular matches.
Visual Effect Fixes
We fixed several major issues that could cause visual effects to remain permanently stuck on characters after they should have disappeared.
Balance Adjustments
A number of balance changes have been made based on player feedback and observations from recent matches.
We’ll continue to monitor the results and make further adjustments where necessary.
20% Discount
Starting today (10 AM PST), Gigils is 20% off for the next two weeks.
Thank you to everyone who has played the game and shared feedback.
