Hello Human farmers,
After a long time we get to showcase our game live in front of players. The response we got was nothing short of amazing. Let's get into details step by step...
First I want to talk about the event itself. IGDC is short for India Game Developer Conference, which is held in India once every year. It's the biggest game showcase event in India and we were fortunate enough to get a chance to showcase our game at the event.
Players who play a variety of genres get to try out our game and their feedback was really valuable. If we get to see players playing our game live in front of us, that information is completely priceless.
We realized which mechanic is really attracting the crowd. They really enjoyed driving the TukTuk cart around the map. We also got to see which part of the game is confusing the player. Overall it was an amazing experience.
Now let's talk about the playtest build. We have completed our playtest build. We are currently testing it thoroughly and ironing out the bugs.
It will contain the following content in the group :-
1. 15 unique human recipe requests to fulfill.
2. 9 crafting machines to harvest and craft human products.
3. A TukTuk cart to ride and carry humans and items around.
4. 6 tools to craft and gather resources around.
5. Humans that exihibit 5 kind of behaviors.
6, 2 categories of Enemies that players will encounter in the wild.
Once the bugs are ironed out, we will launch the playtest. I am hoping by the end of November players will be able to try out the game :)
Until next time,
- Yash Kaushik
