Hello! We are very much looking forward to welcoming new Entropians to our community very soon - and as such we wanted to provide a few good pointers for how best to get involved in Entropia Universe.
Join the Community
We have a large and helpful community of colonists already playing the game who can help you learn the ropes! Here are some of the ways you can find them:
Reddit
And of course, this Steam Community Hub!
You will also find that Entropia has many in game chat channels you can join centered around certain topics. You can join a channel ingame by typing /join #channelname into the chat window!
#waveevents - For finding group content with others
#calypso - For chatting with others on the main planet
#calytrade - For buying and selling
#crt - Calypso Rescue Team (if you get lost and stuck!)
Find a Mentor
Entropia Features a Mentoring System, where more experienced players can help new players learn the game, and if completed both you and your mentor get rewards that will help you progress in the game!
How to Find a Mentor?
There are a few ways you can find a mentor:
Open the Action Library ('n') and search for Mentor Register. Here you can find mentors to apply to
Find someone ingame and ask them to be your mentor! You may find a friend a long the way and may wish take them as your mentor. They can send you a request, or you can make it yourself by interacting with their avatar.
Tips for selecting a Mentor
You may wish to pick someone who has a good record on the Mentor Register
Do not accept random mentorship requests from random people!
Build up some rapport with another player before considering having them as your mentor
Watch Entropia Content on Twitch & YouTube!
Another way to learn about the game is to watch! Interacting with streamers is a great way to go as they can answer your questions live! There are also many great guides on YouTube!
