Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to give a quick update on the progress made since the last post and once again offer up some product keys for instant access to the game! Like last time, you can get yours by heading over to the request form linked to at the bottom of this announcement. As for the progress, some promised features have been implemented as well as some new ones:
Additional Battle Modes - King of the Hill, Death March, Kill Shot, and Bullseye modes are now available.
Remaining Difficulty Levels - All difficulty levels are implemented, though they will continue to be refined over the course of Early Access.
Steam Achievements - There are now 56 unlockable achievements, with some not yet available as they depend on the singleplayer campaign mode being implemented.
Local Stat Tracking - Several stats are now tracked on a per-computer difficulty level basis; matches against friends are also tracked.
In-game Chat (instant messaging) - Quickly send text/emojis to your human opponent without having to open the Steam overlay.
AI Chat - Don't have a human opponent to talk to? Have questions about the game rules or the current match? Need advice for a good offensive/defensive strategy? Want your computer opponent to do something particular, perhaps to try something or challenge them in some way? Well now you can! AI Chat is an experimental feature that uses the power of a (locally installed) LLM to breathe life into your computer opponent like never before! You will need to either switch to the ai_chat branch using the Steam interface to have the recommended LLM downloaded for you, or you can point to an existing LLM on your machine, giving you the ability to dramatically affect the performance of this feature. Other in-game parameters are also available, including a personality specifier.
We are close to releasing in Early Access, so stay tuned for that announcement! In the meantime, you can start playing Chokur now by requesting your copy here:

Feel free to use a temporary email address/alias for this, as it's only used for the one-time purpose of sending you a product key. If you have a friend that you want to play with but this current batch of keys runs out (and the request form disables itself), you can send an email to the address that sent you a key and if you include the key that was sent to you (I don't care from which address you send this request), I will send you another key once I get a new batch of keys from Steam.
Thank You!
