The New Updated Spectral Protocol Demo is now LIVE!
After months of development, testing, fixing bugs, and a lot of feedback from the community, the new updated Spectral Protocol Demo is finally available for everyone!
This is not the same Demo as before. This new version includes the latest updates, features, improvements, gameplay changes, and content added to Spectral Protocol during the development of the latest build.
This also marks the end of the Spectral Protocol Playtest.
I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who participated in the Playtest. Whether you played for a few minutes, completed the entire experience, reported a bug, shared your thoughts, or simply took the time to try the game, you helped me improve Spectral Protocol.
As a solo developer, having real players experience the game and tell me what works, what doesn't, and what could be improved is incredibly valuable. Some of the changes and fixes made during the Playtest would simply not have happened without your feedback.
And now, it's time for the next step.
👻 The New Updated Demo is here!
The Demo has been completely updated with the latest version of Spectral Protocol, including the newest features, gameplay improvements, fixes, changes, and content.
I've also made some changes specifically for this Demo, including a new ending that gives a small glimpse into the story and the direction I'm taking with the full game.
If you've already played the previous Demo or the Playtest, I highly recommend giving this updated version another try. There have been quite a few changes since the earlier builds, and I'd love to hear what you think about the new experience.
And if you've never played Spectral Protocol before...
This is your chance.
Grab your flashlight, keep an eye on your surroundings, and try to figure out what is really happening.
Just remember:
Not everything is what it seems.
❤️ A huge thank you
I also want to thank everyone who supported the project during these early stages.
The Playtest received 700+ access requests, which honestly surprised me as a solo developer. Seeing people willing to spend their time testing a game made by one person is something I don't take for granted.
Every bug report, every suggestion, every message, every piece of feedback, and every person who simply gave the game a chance helped Spectral Protocol get closer to what I want it to become.
The Playtest has now served its purpose, and I'm really happy with what we were able to accomplish together.
So, thank you for being part of it. ❤️
🎮 What's next?
The Demo will now be the main way for new players to discover Spectral Protocol while development continues toward the full release.
And there's more to come.
I'll continue working on new content, mechanics, improvements, and of course... more things for you to discover.
Spectral Protocol is planned for Early Access in 2027, and this is only the beginning.
If you enjoy the Demo, consider leaving a review and adding Spectral Protocol to your wishlist. It genuinely helps a solo developer more than you might think.
And if you encounter any bugs or have feedback, don't hesitate to share it here on the Community Hub or through the Discord.
🩸 The Playtest is over.
🎃 The Demo begins.
Thank you for playing Spectral Protocol.
See you on the other side. 👁️
