Important Changes in Version 1.0.2
- Bug Fixes:
- Fixed an issue when pausing the game in Arcade Survival mode. If the player exited the menu and paused the game while the Dash ability was on cooldown, it would become stuck.
- Fixed bugs with the Scatter weapon and its behavior in-game, and improved its visuals.
- Fixed an issue with the Arcade leaderboard when there was a network disconnect.
Balance Changes:
- Increased the damage caused by each projectile hit from the Multiplex weapon to enemies by 2%.
- Significantly reduced the chance of obtaining a node type, but increased all its reward ratios. We believe this reduces the nuisance of on-screen objects so as not to confuse them with projectiles. The experience node now grants 1000 instead of 400, the fire power node now has a 1-second duration, the movement power node has a 3-second duration, and the energy node now grants 20% more energy for the Multiplex weapon.
- The Galactic weapon in the tutorial is now much more powerful (since if it's considered legendary, it must show its full power).
- A new world called Cosmic has been added, which is only unlocked upon completion of the game (it's still in the final phase).
Visual, effects, musical, and other game changes:
- The music in World 7 has been changed; we believe it's more catchy for the game.
- Minor changes to the display of world backgrounds; we believe they add a more artistic touch to the game.
- Visual changes to the weapon menu to make the weapon selection buttons more understandable.
- The game now automatically detects your Steam profile name and automatically adds it when you select a new profile name. It also automatically hides the virtual keyboard when it detects that there is no Joy Pad active in the game.
- The appearance of the keyboard and game settings menu has been changed (we believe it is more understandable for players).
- Changing weapons on the keyboard, Game Pad, and Arcade Stick is now done with a single button, creating a continuous rotation of weapon configuration changes. On the keyboard, the Alt key will control weapon changes (in keyboard mode, the default keys 1, 2, 3 will still be used).
- The game now has a total of 41 game-only achievements, and 11 more achievements have been added.
- 28 more achievements have been added to Steam, bringing the total to 54 in the game.
- There's a new special ability called Galactrix Ultimate that's only unlocked by completing an achievement. This ability grants you an extra weapon level and a rarely seen super shot with high damage.
- The player's ship now features smoother movement with a hint of inertia, giving it a more complete feel.
