Hi dear adventurers! ːsteamhappyː
This update adds support for the improved Maps DLC. If you own it, you will get two new buttons on the world map:
Plot a route to a selected destination: draws a path on the map to where you want to go. This helps you a lot to check if you are going in the right direction and what dangers you have to come across.
Display exits: displays the exits that each place has, how they are connected and which ones require a key to enter.
If you get the Maps DLC you get these useful features integrated in the game, and it also helps me as a developer in these hard times. I will update this DLC if I find more cool features to add, and you can suggest some too.
You can see the DLC here (there's a video). I've set it on sale until December 12:

Apart from the DLC, here are the other changes:
You can now see the upgrade screen even if you don't have the upgrade points (clicking on the experience points area), so you can look at what each stat does in the game and what is your situation.
Fixed several problems with language and the world map.
Thank you so much for playing Caverns and Dryads! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do creating this!
Next things I'll do are the rework of the cities and the Bestiary DLC (which will be also integrated in the game), plus a Lore screen (you will unlock lore parts as you play)... and many more things to come, including finishing the first main story illustrations so you can play it all.
I'll post on the blog as I develop it all.
Thanks again for being part of this journey and playing Caverns and Dryads!
Comment and suggest anything as always. I listen to your feedback and these additions are based on it. ːsteamhappyː
Yours,
-Louis

CHANGELOG
Version 1.4.17, December 6, 2025
MOST IMPORTANT:
Added support for the Maps DLC on world map screen! Two buttons are activated if you own the "Maps DLC": see the map of the exits and keys, and a trace route button which shows the way to reach the clicked place.
You can now access the upgrade screen to look at it even if you don't have upgrade points (but you won't be able to upgrade, of course).
OTHER:
Fixed problem with the world map that was detecting clicks on the buttons incorrectly and sometimes it got confused with the clicks on the places of the map.
Fixed problem with preferences and language. You may need to select Spanish again in the menu, and play until it is saved so it's remembered (at the end of any place, when you return to world map, it's automatically saved).
Translated help in Spanish in Upgrade screen, which was missing.
