Hello Agents!
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes spying on your feedback, and today we’re rolling out Update v1.1! This patch brings a whole new platform to play on, a heavy round of optimisation for our standalone players, and a bunch of quality-of-life polish to make your secret agent training smoother than ever.

Grab your wire clippers and dive into what’s new:
🌟 The Big News: Steam Frame!
The headline feature for v1.1 is all about flexibility. You can now play Unseen Diplomacy 2 directly in Steam Frame via Proton, as well as via PC Streaming! Sneaking through laser grids has never been more accessible. We've pushed this update early so we can get the game tested ASAP for launch!
⚡ Massive Standalone Performance Boosts
For everyone tackling missions on standalone VR platforms, we’ve got your back. We have implemented LOADS of performance fixes and tweaks across the board. You should notice significantly smoother frame-rates and a much more stable experience when you’re rolling, ducking, and crawling through our physical spaces.
🥽 Crystal Clear Visuals (Goodbye, Blur!)
Speaking of standalone platforms - we noticed that the comics, user interface, and logos could look blurry on certain mobile headsets due to a mipmap streaming bug. We've overhauled how these assets render on standalone VR devices, so your story sequences, UI text, and logo screens are now crisp and clean.
🛠️ Tutorial Fixes & UI Clean-up
Our training simulation got a little bit of love this patch to make sure first-time agents have the best start possible:
Font Fixes: Fixed an issue where certain text characters weren't using the correct font during the tutorial.
Internationalisation: Fixed a pesky bug where Japanese and Chinese fonts were failing to render at all in some of the tutorials. Everything should display correctly now!
PSVR2 Support: When using a PSVR2 with the PC adapter you’ll now see correct button icons (Cross/Triangle/Square/Circle/etc.) and the correct controller model.
Gadgets Hunt: Fixed a missing photo target in the gadgets tutorial.
Streamlined Menus: We have hidden the social screen menu on standalone devices. Since it didn’t make much functional sense for those platforms, we've tucked it away to keep your dashboard clean.
✂️ Ergonomic Spy Gear
Wire Clippers: We adjusted the grab positions on the wire clippers. They are now much easier to pick up naturally and will sit properly in your virtual hand without any awkward twisting.
As always, thank you so much for playing, sending us your bug reports, and showing off your incredible room-scale spy setups. Let us know how the new performance tweaks feel on your headsets!
Over and out, Agents. 🕶️
