Blast Rush MD is an "extra-retro" rendition of Blast Rush. It's a brief Standard-style minigame meant as a fun nod to yesteryear!
Unlocking Blast Rush MD will take a little extra effort. First unlock Blast Box Tier 2, then complete these criteria in any order:
Finish LS Mode Standard. This means beat the boss. If you didn’t do this previously when unlocking Blast Box Tier 2, you have to do it now!
Play both Classic Standard and Endurance once (but not the 2-Minute variants)
If you played one before unlocking Blast Box Tier 2, you just need to play the other
Play both Blast Box Tier 2 games once:
Gust Gauntlet: Finish or get Game Over
Ship Toss: Complete three tries (misses do count!)
Visit every Library section. This means:
Simply choose each section on the menu; you don’t need to view every item
However, this includes visiting all three subsections in History
Return to the main menu and you should see Blast Rush MD appear!
