Dear wanderers, and friends,
The countdown to our grand finale has begun. In honor of the SATORI 1-year anniversary, the FINAL major update for Berenice will drop on May 20-21.
But before the lanterns go out and the final patch alters the world forever, we want to plunge you deeper into the dark layers of our lore. What happens behind the closed doors of Victorian cathedrals when the player logs off? What took place five years before the hunt even started?
Today, we are thrilled to present an official mini-comic prologue.
Structurally, the visual style follows the very logic of the game: the color of the pages shifts from the purple twilight of Act I, through the crimson madness of Act II, into the complete dark under the Blood Moon.
BERENICE: THE VISUAL PROLOGUE
«The architecture of Berenice wasn't built to keep monsters out. It was built to keep something worse inside...»
