SCP: Site Frostfall Crowdfunding Is Now Live!

I am Carl Frellett, CEO of NextEpoch Studio and Project Director of SCP: Site Frostfall.
Thanks to the combined efforts of our team, development of SCP: Site Frostfall is progressing steadily. As the game continues to grow and our community expands, more players are following the project and looking forward to its release. Their expectations are both a source of encouragement and a responsibility that we take seriously.
Why Are We Launching a Crowdfunding Campaign?
NextEpoch is an independent development team made up primarily of students. Due to academic commitments and limitations in time and funding, we currently struggle to consistently acquire higher-quality game assets and essential engine plugins, while also providing stable support for the people working on the project.
These challenges are affecting development efficiency and placing increasing pressure on the team. We do not want to sacrifice quality simply to meet deadlines, nor do we want a lengthy development cycle to gradually erode the community's confidence in SCP: Site Frostfall.
After careful consideration, we have therefore decided to launch the first crowdfunding campaign for SCP: Site Frostfall.
Crowdfunding Goal: CNY 12,000
Our crowdfunding goal is CNY 12,000. The funds raised will primarily be used to:
Purchase higher-quality game assets;
Acquire Unity plugins and professional development tools;
Improve our development conditions and overall efficiency.
CNY 12,000 will not solve every challenge at once, but it will meaningfully ease our current financial pressure and allow us to devote more time and energy to creating content, improving systems, and raising the overall quality of the game.
Every contribution will bring SCP: Site Frostfall one step closer to the game we envision.
Support Tiers and Rewards
This campaign offers three support tiers. All tiers are one-time contributions and will not renew annually, quarterly, or monthly. Rewards will be verified and distributed through our internal supporter tracking system. Final details are subject to the information provided on the Afdian campaign page.
Standard Tier | CNY 120
A permanent "Afdian Supporter" verification badge displayed in the in-game player list;
A customizable title color;
Access to internal testing during the next two major development cycles.
Recommended for players who want to participate in upcoming tests and receive a permanent supporter identity in the game.
Advanced Tier | CNY 240
A permanent "Afdian Advanced Supporter" verification badge displayed in the in-game player list;
A customizable title color;
Access to internal testing for all future major development cycles.
Recommended for players who want to follow the project's long-term development and participate in future version testing.
Future Tier | CNY 360
A permanent and fully customizable verification badge displayed in the in-game player list;
Access to internal testing for all future major development cycles;
Eligibility to join the Global Administrator Internship Program.
Custom badge names and designs must comply with the game's community and display guidelines. Eligibility for the Global Administrator Internship Program does not grant administrator permissions automatically. Participants must pass the required review process and comply with all management and confidentiality policies.
