Showcasing Midnight Souvenirs and meeting you all at Gamescom!
Hi everyone!
Today we would like to talk about our trip to Gamescom, and the fun and outstanding experience we’ve had with all who came to visit our booth! The convention week has been challenging for us, but very gratifying too, so we would like to share what made this time so special.🤩
The weeks before Gamescom were filled with preparation to make a polished, enjoyable demo for the Gamescom visitors who were willing to spend their precious time at our booth. In our heads we imagined that only a few visitors among the entire crowds of the Indie Arena would stop by to play our demo. For those of you who don’t know our game yet, we’re developing a cozy Hidden-Object Game. So pretty niche to put it simply!😉
But fortunately we were very wrong!😀
Our booth was buzzing with interested players and onlookers, who were happy to discover an original all handdrawn Hidden-Object Game set in a whimsical but Lovecraftian setting 👻. Many discovered us by checking the ‘gamescom now’ website, the steam Gamescom event, or spotting our cute cat companion on the Cozy-Sticker-Rally sheet.
We were absolutely thrilled to welcome so many to our booth, and want to thank all visitors for giving us and our game a chance! 💜
The conversations we’ve had, and the kind and sweet feedback we received has really elevated this experience even more! But, we also want to apologize to those of you who have waited so long in our unexpectedly full queue! 🙏
We appreciate your patience and understanding for spending your valuable time waiting in line. And a special shout out to the lovely player who visited Gamescom just to play our little game - thank you very much! 😢💖
Now with Gamescom under wraps, we will focus on making the best public demo possible for you all! So that everyone, no matter if you have seen us at Gamescom or not, can enjoy our demo and discover the world of ✨Midnight Souvenirs✨!
For more updates and extra insight into our game, such as the reveal of our cat companion’s name 🐈⬛, follow our socials which are linked on our Steam page.
Till then, Thank you for your support and have a great week everyone! 💜
Cheers Isabel & Alexa
