Final Demo Update
This update is the last update for the Buckle Up! demo.
From here on out, our full focus is on polishing, balancing, and finishing the game for its full release. Thank you to everyone who played the demo, sent feedback, reported bugs, and helped shape the game, we really appreciate it.
Buckle Up! @ PvP Fest
We’re also excited to announce that Buckle Up! will be participating in Steam PvP Fest, starting February 9th, 2026 (9.2.2026)!
If you’ve been playing the demo or are interested in chaotic local and online PvP, this is a great time to check it out and wishlist the game.

Reworked the revolver introduction (removed start teleporting and beam issues)
Gameplay & Mechanics
Added an indicator showing which player currently has the bomb in Hot Potato
Randomized player spawns in Revolver Elimination
Improved player indicator visibility
Added brief spawn invincibility to prevent immediate knockouts
Added an indicator for the player currently in the lead (Bounty mode)
Players can now pass through platforms before the round starts
Fishing (FFA): Only the first player now receives points
Increased bomb spawn rate in Bomb Rush

Reworked all special weapon pop-up notifications
Added a pickup indicator when grabbing items (similar to fish pickup feedback)

UI & UX
Fixed missing UI indicators in Revolver Elimination
Fixed round counters not displaying for teams in Revolver Elimination and Capture the Flag
Fixed incorrect round numbers showing during intermission (notably in Revolver Elimination)
Reworked the victory screen
Fixed intermission sprites briefly appearing black (now unlit)
Fixed victory sound being triggered multiple times during intermission
Updated controller and keyboard images in settings with proper localization
Improved fullscreen behavior and input handling

Reviewed and adjusted sky ceiling limits across all maps
Added additional boxes to Container (Small) map

Fixed an issue where flags could still be captured after the game had already ended in Capture the Flag
Fixed timer behavior when reaching 0 in King of the Hill (Container Small)
