It has been some time since our last dev log.
During this period, we have continued improving the core systems of The Apocalypse, while also gradually adding more gameplay features that help define the game’s identity.

This time, we would like to share some of our latest development progress through a new video.
First, the game world itself.

We have always wanted the open world of The Apocalypse to be more than just a map that carries gameplay. We want it to have its own atmosphere and identity.

Forests, snowy regions, ruins, deserts, as well as changes in lighting under different times of day and weather conditions, are all being continuously adjusted and improved.
In this video, we have also included several shots focusing on the current world atmosphere, so you can get a better look at how the world of The Apocalypse is gradually taking shape.

Firearm Customization
Alongside the world environment, one of the main focuses of this video is the firearm assembly system currently in development.

We want players to have more freedom after obtaining a weapon, rather than being limited to using it in a fixed configuration.
Firearms can be broken down into different modules.

Players will be able to freely replace barrels, sights, muzzles, grips, stocks, magazines, and other attachments.
Different attachments will not only change the appearance of a firearm, but also affect its attributes and how it feels to use.

As a result, the same weapon can have completely different configurations in the hands of different players.
We want players to be able to build a weapon that truly suits their own playstyle.

At the same time, we are also exploring more customization options, allowing players to not only change weapon performance, but also gradually develop their own equipment style.
Of course, firearm customization is only one of the systems currently in development.

Vehicle customization, vehicle functionality, and additional equipment systems are also continuing to progress.
We want players to have more and more choices in The Apocalypse, rather than being restricted to a fixed way of playing.

The game is still in active development, and there is still a great deal of content that needs to be improved. Along the way, we will also continue encountering new problems that need to be solved.
Thank you all for your continued attention and patience.
We will keep developing the game and will continue using dev logs like this whenever possible to show you how The Apocalypse is gradually becoming the game we want it to be.
We’re still going.
