DevLog #2: In the workshop and on the road! 🔧⛽️
Hello travelers!
Another month of hard work has passed, and your peaceful adventure on the road is becoming more and more realistic and demanding. In this DevLog, I want to show you what we've managed to implement to make you feel life on the road even more intensely.
Real challenges of a mechanic
One of our main goals was to expand the vehicle mechanics. Now your car isn't just a means of transportation, but a true companion that needs to be looked after.
Tire Replacement: We've added car jacks and lifts. You can now lift your car yourself and, in the event of a breakdown, change the wheel. This is a key element that adds realism and exposes you to real challenges on the road.
Damage System: We've introduced a vehicle damage system. Collisions and accidents now have real consequences—damage is mainly a visual aspect that makes your car look worn out from the road. You can replace damaged parts with new ones to restore its former glory.
Service at the station: At gas stations you can now buy repair parts and refuel your vehicle or canister. This allows you to strategically plan your journey and prepare for any eventuality.
Life on the Edge of Law and Purity
Although the game focuses on Have a peaceful journey, the world has its own rules.
Police and fines: We have launched a police and fines system. It operates on the principle of theft prevention. Be careful not to leave the gas station without paying for the fuel, parts, or water at the car wash.
Car wash: After a long journey the car may look unattractive. We have introduced a car wash and car washing system so that you can take care of the appearance of your car.
Moving around the world
The world The game is growing, so making navigation easier for you has become crucial.
Minimap: We've added a minimap, which makes it much easier to navigate the world, locate gas stations, cities, and other important points.
What's next?
These changes are just the beginning! I can already reveal that in DevLog #3 we'll cover engine maintenance, breakdowns, operating fluids, and the hunger system.. We want your journey to be even more immersive and require you to take care of not only your car, but also yourselves.
Thank you for your support! Follow us, and I'll reveal more details soon.
See you on the road!
