Demo Update v7: Leaderboards, Replayability & Subtle Secrets
We’ve been busy preparing for our upcoming early access release, but wanted to bring you another cozy chunk of updates! This patch includes a much-requested New Game mode, a shiny new Leaderboard system, and a few quiet additions… if you know where to dig. Before we dig into the details, we are thrilled to announce Cozy Holes will be releasing in Early Access on August 6th, 2025!
🏁 Start Over, Your Way
– You can now fully restart your adventure with a new “New Game” confirmation option
– Clear your progress and replay the demo from day one
– No more waiting for the in-game clock to run out!
🏆 Leaderboards Are Live
– We’ve launched our first public leaderboard system!
– Compete for the deepest dig and see how you stack up
– Whoever holds the top spot on August 6th, 2025 (our early access launch day) will win a free copy of the game!
– Bonus: Top scores and more details are viewable on our website
🪐 Something Strange Overhead…
– Some players have reported seeing unusual events in the sky…
– That’s probably nothing. Keep digging.
🛠️ Polish, Fixes & New Landmarks
– Visual upgrades and material polish across several areas
– Lighting tweaks and improved object interaction
– Continued work on new landmarks — not all are accessible in the demo, but they’re waiting for you later
