Hello everyone,
You can finally return to the remade Zuzuiata Hills map! We have some new things to discover and a few quests available, with more to come! But first I wanted to give you a chance to explore more of the world of Arcadian Days.
Your usual saves should work fine for this update.
Zuzuiata Hills is ready to be explored, being the biggest map yet!
Auto save has been removed, you can now save at Muma Shrines scattered throughout the maps. The game also saves when transitioning to new maps or quest milestones. This should solve issues where you'd end up stuck and have to start again.
New Quest : Find the Martishor in Zuzuiata Hills to bring the bees back to the homestead. You can find the empty beehives in the Lilac Garden
Once you acquire two relics and give them to Mama, they will now be removed from the inventory and put in Miela's room on the upper floor of the house. Mama will also give you a notes book, however there is currently a bug which means it cannot be used properly, this will be fixed ASAP.
A corn maze in Zuzuiata hills that you will have to get to the other end of.
Collision and other bug fixes.
Performance improvements, plus an option to modify Global Illumination on the settings menu which should help for lower spec PCs. Please bear in mind you'll want to change this in the main menu, if you do it while playing, it might crash the game.
Coming next :
You will notice Sarmizegetusa is currently with no quests, an exciting quest is coming in a few days for it where you will get to restore it and place signs to show what each of the ruins represent.
The orange cliffs have an interior that is not yet explorable but will very soon.
Let me know what you think, and thank you for your support. As always, keep an eye out for more content as the game development continues.
Many thanks,
Cal, Arcadian Days Developer
