This update improves the UI for smaller resolutions and adds some additional support to help the game run on Steam Deck.
Updated Godot engine to 4.6
Added on-screen buttons for all game actions to support touch
Updated how turn phases are displayed and which will be consumed by an action
Tweaked layout to support Steam Deck 800px height
Added camera pan (WSAD/arrows/middlemouse), tilt (with shift), zoom (QE/mouse wheel)
Added fullscreen toggle (F12)
No new cards in this update, but I am collecting ideas for the next content drop.
A Linux / Deck build was "coming soon", but the feedback has been that the game runs fine under proton. Convenient for a solo dev! An "official" Linux build with support listed in the store is still on the cards, but for now:
Added initial config for Deck touch controls
Deck launches in fullscreen by default
Cross-platform multiplayer
Valve recommends using FSR with a lower render scale to save battery. Fancy lighting will also use a fair bit less power. Options are in settings.
