Hi everyone! Just a quick post to let you know that the demo is now open for playtesting!
PLAYTESTING
ːsteamthumbsupːIf you'd like to access it today and be one of the testers, join the Discord server: https://discord.gg/X2f3Qqx5vn
The main objectives of the tests are:
To ensure the quality of the game, spot any remaining bugs or inconsistencies
To validate the clarity of the mechanics, UI, story
Benchmark performances on various hardware devices
To see if the current ending of the demo is well chosen: since the demo consists of the beginning of the main story, there are several other key moments that could mark the end of the demo if the currently chosen one is not suitable.
SOME TECHNICAL NEWS:
Nvidia DLSS and DLAA are now supported and integrated!
TSR is also available
Gamepad is now partially supported (Xbox or equivalent), but still needs some adjustment on certain widgets. Playstation or equivlant gamepads support is ongoing.
Overall performance has been greatly improved, due to optimizations in fog resolution (GPU), lighter collision handling (CPU), and many other factors.
Final demo size will be about 9GB
Now that a major development milestone has been reached, it will also be an opportunity to focus more on communication and prepare a proper trailer as well as better presentation materials to showcase the game in the best possible light.
Thank you all for your support! ːsteamhappyː
