Hi everyone,
Over the last few weeks, we have been looking closely at Kanka’s Steam page, the Alpha 6 Playtest, and the way we present the game to new players.
One thing became clear to us: the page needed to show Kanka more directly.
Kanka is a 1–4 player co-op sci-fi action RPG / third-person shooter. It is about fighting through dangerous missions on SP-01, working together as a squad, facing hostile factions, collecting useful gear and materials, crafting key tools, improving your character, and trying to find a way home without leaving anyone behind.
After the Alpha 6 Playtest, we updated the Steam page to make that clearer.
The biggest change is the new Kanka Gameplay Trailer.
This new trailer starts directly with gameplay and focuses more clearly on what you actually do in the game:
third-person combat
co-op team play
hostile factions
mission and objective moments
loot, crafting, and progression
character growth
exploration on SP-01
We also updated the screenshot order, short description, store text, and localization to better match the direction of the game.
Kanka is still in active alpha development. Alpha 6 helped us see what is working, what needs improvement, and what we need to communicate better. We are continuing to improve combat feel, mission flow, co-op stability, enemy encounters, progression, and the early game experience.
Thank you to everyone who joined the playtest, gave feedback, followed the project, or added Kanka to their wishlist. It really helps us understand what to focus on next.
If you want to support Kanka, the best thing you can do right now is wishlist the game on Steam and request access to the playtest.
Thank you for helping us shape Kanka.
