January 15th, 2026 Progress Update
First Update of 2026!
The current internal test is nearing completion, with most routes having passed logic testing. The majority of the 82 defects discovered in the first round have already been fixed. We’ve also received plenty of feedback regarding the story logic, and we’ll continue to polish the chapter performances moving forward.
Additionally, last week we exceeded the planned progress by 50% on the P3 storyline performances. Special thanks to Zhangao for working overtime until almost 3 a.m. to finalize the branching paths. Just before production, I realized the original branches were insufficient, so we expanded from 2 branches to a full 16 in a rush! O-<<<<<<
On the localization front, Diana has completed the English proofreading for the first three days of the W route. Furthermore, last month we brought on a new English editor who is currently revising the English version of G route. We hope this will accelerate the progress of the English localization!

Q: Hey, Birctreel! I noticed in the Q&A box that Aeriff and Schuheit are in a relationship where she is older. And Schuheit is only 19! He’s so young. How is it that he became a medical researcher at the Institute at such an early age? Did he start studying and conducting experiments under the Crowzier from a very young age? (If we translate that to modern times, it’s like a sophomore in college being as capable as a professor. That’s amazing!)
A: Yes, he's quite young, even I was surprised! (lol) Originally, Schuheit was set to be about 2 or 3 years younger than Aeriff, but adjustments to the timeline ended up changing his age to what it is now XD
The title of “medical researcher” isn't actually a high-level position (probably due to the wrong words I use). When Schuheit first joined the lab, he started with washing beakers and cleaning test tubes. Until around the time of Knell incident, he spent most of his time focused on his experiments, not quite at the level of a professor who teaches or leads projects. His strength lies in his meticulousness (in other words, he controls variables very well) and his good luck (the Machine Spirit is pleased!). His experiments inexplicably have a high success rate, making him quite popular in the research team…
