Hi everyone,
Demo is live!
First off, we are excited to release the Plush Rangers demo ahead of Bullet Fest kicking off on June 8th. The demo features the first level and some of the content we are planning for the game. We will be continuing to update the demo with additional content, balance, and mechanics as those are completed in the final product.
What's Next?
We are organizing our development for Plush Rangers around 3 core goals: Gameplay, Content, and Fun.
Gameplay
While the current demo shows the foundations for the gameplay for Plush Rangers, we want to add more richness to the game. This means building out more ways that someone can make interesting choices to build out their character and team in different ways. We also want to make sure there is enough variety in enemies, levels, and challenges to keep the game interesting. Some elements we will be adding to the game (and demo) over the next few months:
Level challenges to allow for more variations and goals
Additional enemy behaviors and variation
More interesting choices when leveling up and selecting items.
Content
We will be posting more details and sharing previews as we complete additional elements to the game. We have a large stack of plushies, items, and enemies to add to the game.
Fun
We want Plush Rangers to be a challenging, silly experience. We already have things like: cowboy boots that leave a trail of flames, plushies that can launch enemies in the air, and enemies that come from crates falling from the sky. We want to allow overpowered, game-breaking builds while still making choices matter on leveling up.
We can't wait to hear your feedback! Leave a comment on the Steam discussion or jump on into our Discord to hear about upcoming features and further opportunities to playtest!
