Math Challenge AR Steam version.
Math Challenge AR will be released on Steam on June 13, in a VR version under the SteamVR system. The game is, of course, the same as the version available on the Meta store, but within a virtual gaming environment.
In this article, we will discuss the answers to the most common questions about Math Challenge AR.
As for the questions, I have four articles written that cover many of the topics you mention. Here is a link to Steam with those articles. But, in summary:
1.- What are the differences between the Steam version and the Meta Quest store version?
The only difference is that in the Steam version, the external camera is not activated, which is replaced by a dome where the player plays in the same way as in the Meta Quest store version. Everything else is exactly the same.
2.- What is the main appeal of Math Challenge AR? Why should I play it?
The main appeal of the game is that it combines pure mental activity with the pressure to earn points and beat levels to get different prizes. If you add in the activation of enemies, then you also have to survive in an environment where you'll be attacked while trying to solve problems. Combining the calm needed to solve a math problem with combat against spaceships is definitely something that can be a big draw for many players.

3.- Is it a complex game for those who have not used virtual reality glasses before?
Not at all. Players with little experience can play, as the game has an interactive tutorial and a detailed video with all the necessary information. There is also a manual on the website that details all aspects of the game.
4.- What are the main elements that allow you to configure Math Challenge AR?
The elements to be configured are divided into two parts: on the one hand, the type and complexity of the mathematical operations, including the type of problems, their level, whether you want decimals, whether you want negatives, whether you want to include equations, and the combination of all of these.
On the other hand, you can configure aspects such as the playing area, the rotation of the operations (it is not the same to see a problem forwards as it is backwards, and that makes you lose time), and things like the speed of the numbers. All of this is combined to create your own scenario. In the campaign, the difficulty also increases, and prizes can only be obtained in the campaign.

5.- How does the game ranking work?
The ranking is based on the following: first, the points. Only if you get a certain number of points can you get the prizes. Once you have them, the dynamic panels solved, the colored panels solved, and the enemy ships destroyed if you play in enemy mode are then taken into account. Each element has a star associated with it. To get all the stars, you must master all the elements. The ranking is only active in the campaign, not in training.
6.- What are the bars at the bottom?
Two of the bars are typical of many games: health and energy. The third bar tells us how many points we need to reach the next achievement. The way it works is also simple: energy is consumed when you shoot, and it recharges when you hit the numbers. Energy spheres also appear that complete the charge. There are other spheres that regenerate health. And a third bar with a cap indicates how close you are to reaching the next level, but only in the campaign, since training is just that, training, according to what you have configured in the settings screens.
If you need more information, please don't hesitate to read the manual.
