Hello everyone!
In this first entry I want to salute all lovers of science, knowledge, and Star Trek fans. Well, Star Wars fans too. Hey, I saw Star Wars in 1978. Maybe you can't say that! It was great! By the way, I loved Andor 1st and 2nd seasons. A Masterpiece, or at least it seems so to me.

Ok, let's get down to business. Until the game is released, I'm going to make several informative posts about Math Challenge AR, the augmented reality game that combines mathematics with action and even combat, if you activate the enemies option of the game. But, in this first entry I'm going to get a little more serious, to present you an article that you have in the link, and that has little or nothing to do with the game, but with the importance of mathematics.
You see: I, like many other children, had a lot of problems with mathematics. It was a nightmare for me. But, little by little, with the help of great teachers, and with a lot of effort, I began to realize that mathematics is like a game. It has basic rules, medium rules, and advanced rules. If you don't know the basic rules, the middle and advanced rules will be impossible to understand.

Based on that youthful experience I wanted to reflect on learning mathematics. And don't think I'm a math genius now. Far from it; I have a lot of difficulties. But I overcame my fears, and I was able to pass the exams that allowed me to develop a professional career as a computer engineer. Most importantly, however, I was not useless at math, as some people told me; I just needed patience, work, and some help. When I had them, I overcame all barriers.
There are many young people in my situation. That's why I want to encourage them to struggle, strive, and work hard. It will not be easy. But, with a little help, I'm sure they will be able to overcome any barriers as well. If I did it, so can they.
In the next post I will talk about the Math Challenge AR game. Remember that there is already a lot of information and videos on the web. Thank you very much!
