In this update of the most feline circus in the planet, the focus was to review the user experience, trying to improve aspects that could interfere negatively, especially for those playing with a controller, along with some additions to the UI.
Main changes
The size of the arrows can be changes in the settings menu, on the gameplay option. You can make them bigger or smaller than the current size.
The arrows now display icons representing the input main buttons, accordingly to the input method you’re currently using, either keyboard or controller.
Controller or keyboard icons (based on the last command) are shown to help moving through the interface.
Among other important adjustments:
Cat has another spotlight behind them, to enhance their appearance in the game.
Mouse cursor is hidden automatically during gameplay or if a controller is being used while going through the menus.
After finishing the settings in the latency assistant, the player goes back to the settings screen where they left.
Valve Controller scheme (or Steamdeck scheme) was added to the list of supported controllers.
Left directional in controllers is read with a lower sensibiility, making it harder for the player to miss a multiplier by accident.
Improvements to the controller navigation, especially in the song selection screen and latency assistant.
I really hope this update improves your experience with AnimaCircus even more.
