Hi everyone,
This month's update marks one of the biggest milestones in the development of Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior.
We've now completed the first alpha version of the full game!
For the first time, the entire adventure is playable from beginning to end. Although plenty of balancing, polishing and bug fixing still lies ahead, reaching this point feels like a major achievement for our small team.
The next step will be a new round of extensive playtesting, helping us refine gameplay, pacing, exploration and combat before moving toward beta.
From Voivod Artwork to Pixel Art
Today we'd like to share a new featurette showing how the universe of Voivod has been transformed into the game's world.
The video compares original artworks with their in-game reinterpretation, revealing the creative process behind locations, enemies, characters and environments.
DevGAMM Gdańsk
On June 18–19 we showcased the latest prototype at DevGAMM Gdańsk, where players, developers, publishers and press had the chance to try the game.
The event provided us with extremely valuable feedback, and we're happy to say that Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior also reached the Top 10 in the Best Art category. Although we didn't receive the final nomination, we're incredibly proud of this recognition.
