Hello, this is YNOT! We’re here with the latest development news for Spookitchen.
🎃 Selected for BIC Connect Pick & EAIGC
Spookitchen has been selected for the online showcases of BIC Connect Pick at the Busan Indie Connect Festival and the East Asia Indie Game Festival (EAIGC).
🎃Update Patch Notes
This demo includes several major changes. We have updated the field perspective, added gamepad support and control accessibility features, and introduced a variety of new content.
Previously, every map used a side-view perspective. With this update, we have completely rebuilt Polter Forest as a top-down map. The entire map has been redrawn, with new areas and ingredients added. We hope these changes make exploration and movement feel even more enjoyable!
We have also added gamepad support and key rebinding, allowing Spookitchen to be played in a wider range of environments beyond keyboard and mouse.
However, some gamepad button prompts, glyphs, and tutorial instructions are still incomplete. We plan to continue improving them through future updates.
