🌊 We're Going to XP Game Summit + Blue Ocean Challenge! | May Monthly Update 🌿

Big news, we’re thrilled to announce that our team will be attending the XP Game Summit to showcase our game to industry professionals, publishers, and fellow developers! This is a huge opportunity for us to get the game in front of more people and potentially secure a publisher to help bring our vision to life.
On top of that, we’ve submitted our game to the Blue Ocean Challenge, a competition that highlights creative, innovative indie titles. If you’ve been enjoying the journey with us so far, we’d love your support, every bit of visibility helps us push this project even further.

🔄 Introducing Monthly Updates!
We want to stay more connected with all of you, so we’re starting monthly dev updates to share what’s new, what we’re working on, and where the game is headed. Here's what’s been going on in May:
🧰 Event Prep & Gameplay Improvements
A lot of this month has been focused on preparing for XP and Blue Ocean, but we’ve still managed to make solid progress on the game itself. Here’s a quick look at what’s new:
🌿 New Hedges: We’ve replaced the old bush walls with brand-new hedge assets that feel more polished and visually readable in gameplay.
💥 Damage Number Overhaul (WIP): We’re redesigning how damage numbers appear, making them feel more interactive while reducing screen clutter. It’s still a work in progress, but already feeling like a step up. We hope to show you the final product soon!
🛍️ Future System Planning: We’ve been deep in discussions about core systems for the future of the game, including currency, shops, and permanent character upgrades to add depth and replayability.
