Hey everyone!
After spending way too long building power systems, terraforming fogs, and a small army of autonomous rovers… I finally sat down and did it.
Crafting is now in the game!
This update introduces the core crafting loop:
• Mine ores like iron, copper, silica, and more
• Refine them using the Refinery to get rods, ingots, and cores
• Craft materials like wires, glass, and alloys in the Crafting Station
• Print buildings and machines with the Printer using power and materials
Alongside this system, I also updated the UI for all three machines, added new resources like aluminum, silver, uranium, and even introduced a robot graveyard (long story… it involves my 6-year-old and a lot of guilt).
Blueprints are now unlocked through exploration and terraforming research, so you’ll start with an empty printer and unlock more as you progress.
This is a huge step toward turning this into a proper survival crafting game, and I can’t wait to hear what you think.
If you haven’t already, wishlist the game on Steam to be notified about the upcoming playtests and to help us reach more players.
Thanks for being here,
Thorin
