Hello there,
It's already been two weeks since the toy room opened its doors. During this time, one of our greatest joys has been watching the wildly imaginative builds and toy combinations you've all come up with.
Take the Community Challenge we just launched yesterday, for example:
Right after the update went live, many players immediately started experimenting with creative strategies, rapidly "intensifying" the speedrun meta, some even caused the Boss to have an existential crisis.
That said, if lightning-fast clears aren't your thing, don't worry! We also place great value on "Creative Build".
As long as your setup is clever, surprising, or just plain fun to watch, you'll still have a chance to win rewards!
And of course, if you have anything you'd like to share with us, feel free to leave a review on the Steam store page. That's the most direct way for us to hear from you: every word of encouragement truly motivates us, and every suggestion will be carefully read and taken into account for future improvements.
Moving forward, we’re excited to share what’s next for the game’s development:
2025 Q4
In the final stretch of 2025, we'll continue focusing on community engagement and balance:
Community Event: The official "beat the devs" challenge is already live! Can you defeat the Boss with your genius placement and strategy?
New Toys & More Class Abilities: We'll keep expanding the pool of toy items and abilities, so there's always something new to explore.
More Languages Available: Making sure more players around the world can join the toy brawl!
2026 Q1
Match Replay: Rewatch those brilliant (or hilarious) moments, learn from top players' placements, and share your clutch plays with a single click.
New Game Mode: Tired of careful calculations in Ranked? We're planning a mode where power scaling goes completely off the rails! With massive buffs and high randomness, enjoy pure, unpredictable chaos.
Free Festive Cosmetics: New year, new look! We'll bring you free cosmetics to dress up your toy world for spring!
Hero Skin DLC: Stay tuned!
2026 Q2 and Beyond: Infinite Possibilities
In Q2, we plan to introduce a new hero. While the concept is still being finalized, this character may have a strong connection with "Water-type" items. Our goal is to expand your tactical toolkit with innovative mechanics that remain intuitive and easy to learn.
Ongoing gameplay refinements and new mechanic explorations to bring even more renewed experiences to Toy Smash Kaboom!.
Note: The above reflects our current development plans. Actual content and timelines may be adjusted based on progress. If you feel there's anything we could improve, you're always welcome to join our official Discord and let us know your feedbacks!
