18Fevers is a high-octane "Death Punk Disco" band based in Seoul, South Korea. Formed in 2021, the group quickly made a name for themselves with an unpredictable, high-energy stage presence that emphasizes heavy crowd interaction and raw intensity. Their unique sound is a defiant blend of genres, weaving together 80s death rock, hardcore punk, and post-punk with unexpected elements of hip-hop, drum and bass, and metalcore. This eclectic fusion has established them as a foundational force in a new wave of the Korean punk scene.
The band has rapidly expanded their reach beyond the peninsula, completing multiple tours in the United Kingdom and performing at the prestigious Rebellion Festival, the world's largest independent punk festival, in both 2023 and 2024. Their discography, including the EP Cut Me Up, features tracks that tackle social issues, personal relationships, and societal double standards with a "tongue firmly in cheek" attitude. As they continue to collaborate with international artists and prepare for their first North American appearances, 18Fevers remains a primary export of Seoul’s vibrant underground music culture.
