CHAKA is a primal force in the New York metal scene, delivering a subgenre they’ve dubbed "Cave Metal." Built on a foundation of "Loud, Heavy, and Groovy,"
the band features veterans of the underground scene (including members of Darkside NYC) who have played together for over 40 years.
Their music is a raw, bass-driven homage to the pioneers of extreme metal. Exploring lyrical themes of human evolution, Neanderthal history, and science.
