Artist Spotlight: HOTBOX

HotBox is a high-energy rap metal and nu-metal band originally hailing from Beer Sheva, Israel, but they are now heavily active in the Los Angeles music scene. They are known for a sound that fuses 90s-style nu-metal with aggressive old-school rap and heavy, chugging riffs. The band formed in 2013 and spent their early years building a "do-it-yourself" reputation in Israel. Their history is quite gritty; the band faced a hiatus early on. In recent years, the group relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a global presence, quickly becoming a staple in local Southern California venues. https://open.spotify.com/artist/1K3l1jGn0tUAQhwrKkv1MR?si=VvxkdaiATsiFR6tQsfo8sg
