The chaos has only just begun! It’s been an incredible ride bringing this game to life - mostly as a solo developer, with some much-appreciated help along the way. Seeing players dive in and experience the chaos has been amazing, but I know this is only the beginning.
I’ve been so focused on pushing updates that I haven’t shared a clear big-picture vision for the future… until now. So let’s fix that! Here’s what’s coming next for There's Chaos! and how we’re going to take the game to the next level. We’re not stopping here!
The Future of Chaos: What’s Coming?
- Game Tutorial – A smoother, better onboarding experience for new players.
- Localization – Play There's Chaos! in your native language.
- Seam Achievements – Show off your skills and unlock bragging rights.
- Co-op Multiplayer – Team up with friends to take on AI enemies together.
- PvP & PvPvE Multiplayer – Battle against human players, AI, or both—choose to cooperate or dominate!
- New Weapons, Upgrades & Maps – More tools of destruction, more battlegrounds, more replayability.
- Improved Visual Effects – A more polished, immersive, and explosive experience.
- Performance Optimizations – Smoother, faster, better.
- Steam Deck & Console Support – Play anywhere, anytime!
The Chaos Roadmap
Here's how the current roadmap looks like:
- Phase I (2-3 months): Localization, Tutorial, Co-op Multiplayer, Steam achievements, Improved Visuals and Performance Optimizations.
- Phase II (5-6 months): PvP & PvPvE, More Content, More Visual Upgrades and More Optimizations.
- Phase III (2-3 months): Steam Deck & Console Support - bringing the chaos to even more platforms!
Estimated total development time: 10-12 months - but only with the support needed to make it happen.
