What to expect in Patch #4 - Our first Major patch
Greetings fellow Naicalites, we've been cooking up a lot of stuff behind the scenes, and before we release our next update we'd like to give you a bit of an update of what is going on from our side as well as what to expect in the next Patch, coming soon to the Live servers!
Main Additions:
2 new zones which will complete the storyline of the Cerulean Forest in preparation for the next chapter of your adventures
Level cap will be increased to 30 which will unlock a new active and passive ability
New gear set for the level 30 bracket
You will be able to obtain your first mount upon completing a specific quest
Bank with 60 slots, which will be upgradeable to 120 with Gold you have earned in-game
Mana and Health Potion cooldown reduction upgrades
Based on popular demand Side Quests now have a map visual showing you where you need to go, Board Quests will still have no map visual since they are designed to be accomplished as you are moving through the zones
Tons of bug fixes and balance changes
Next few patches after Patch #4 you can expect:
Adding a wardrobe system, where you will be able to equip items which will override the visual of the gear you are currently wearing, without affecting stats
New ability scaling system which will allow abilities to go past rank 5, up to 10
Addition of a cash shop with only cosmetics at the beginning and as we further develop in-game systems we will most likely add certain convenience elements as well (NO P2W)
Expansion of the Tower Arenas as well as the addition of proper instanced dungeons that you can explore and conquer with a party of 5
World Bosses - Dangerous enemies that will occasionally spawn on the world map and will require cooperation and coordination from dozens of players to take down
A few updates on our side:
We are very happy with the feedback we've received for the game, what you love, what you hate, we take anything we can into account to make the experience better for all of you
We have also realized that with the reworked foundation of Naica, came new and unexpected challenges which lead us to not publish updates as fast as we wanted to, but that will slowly start to level out thanks to a new addition to our team!
Another team member has been added to our humble 3 person roster, so once they get caught up with everything (which should take at least a month or two) - expect more agile and frequent updates
And last but not least, we'd like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped us report and resolve bugs, all the people that left reviews, ESPECIALLY the awesome and entertaining conversations happening on our Discord server, so big hugs from everyone at Naica <3
